Tour Du Mont-Blanc
10 Days of Adventure, Mindfulness, and Inner Journey
The Tour du Mont Blanc is one of Europe’s most famous and breathtaking long-distance trekking routes. It leads through three countries: France, Italy, and Switzerland.
Across roughly 150 km of trail, you’ll experience an incredible variety of alpine scenery: snow-capped peaks, glaciers, vibrant alpine meadows, deep valleys, and crystal-clear mountain lakes.
On this 10-day journey, we combine stunning nature experiences with moments of mindfulness, self-reflection, and personal growth. Together, we’ll hike through spectacular landscapes, discover charming mountain villages, and enjoy the quiet peace of the mountains.
With Tarah by your side, this trip becomes so much more than a hike – it’s an inner journey that inspires you, helps you slow down, and fills you with fresh energy.
Personal Trip Leadership
As Co-Founder of Aspire Adventures, Tarah personally accompanies the group throughout the entire tour. With experience, presence, and her whole heart, she ensures clear guidance, safety, and a calm, held environment where everyone can simply relax and be themselves. The Tour du Mont Blanc is challenging – both logistically and mentally. That’s where our real value lies: Planning, route navigation, daily structure, and logistics are carefully thought out and professionally managed. You can trust that everything runs smoothly, allowing you to focus entirely on the experience itself.
Intimate Group Size
With a maximum of 10 participants, we bring together like-minded souls – people who love adventure, crave personal growth, and look for genuine depth. This creates space for inspiring conversations, mutual support, and friendships that often last far beyond the trip.
Yoga & Mindfulness
This trekking journey works its magic inside as well as out.
As a Spiritual Life Coach, Tarah intentionally creates space for reflection, integration, and inner growth. Short meditations, gentle yoga and breathwork sessions, journaling prompts, and shared reflection rounds help you digest and deepen the day’s impressions. Everything is an invitation – nothing is mandatory. This creates a special harmony between movement, nature, and inner alignment – an experience that resonates long after you return home.
10 Days of Adventure
We hike daily through breathtaking landscapes and spend our nights in cosy mountain huts and charming hotels that blend alpine flair with comfort. Half board is included throughout the trip, so after a day on the trail, we can enjoy delicious meals together and reflect on the day’s moments in a relaxed atmosphere.
International Mountain Leader (IML)
A certified UIMLA International Mountain Leader accompanies the entire tour, ensuring the highest safety standards in alpine terrain. With experience, foresight, and deep knowledge of the mountains, she provides a safe and reliable framework that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the trail, nature, and the present moment. Professional leadership combining safety with depth – for a conscious, relaxed, and powerful mountain experience..
Goosebump Moments
We take you to special, often hidden spots along the TMB – from secret viewpoints and glistening mountain lakes to quiet places where you can experience nature deeply and undisturbed. Moments you won't find in any guidebook.

Hi, I’m Tarah – Founder of Aspire Adventures, Adventurer, Yoga Teacher, and Spiritual Life Coach.
My own path hasn’t always been linear – but that’s precisely why I know how transformative nature, movement, silence, and honest community can be. They don’t just give us strength and grounding; they also remind us how alive we are and that we’re capable of so much more than we often think.
With Aspire Adventures, I want to create spaces for you that feel safe and genuine – while being full of energy, adventure, and unique moments. Places where you feel supported, yet free to grow beyond your limits.
I have a soft intuition for what people need in the moment – and it’s my heartfelt passion to inspire you, empower you, and create experiences that stay with you forever.
THE ITINERARY*
-
We meet at the official starting point of the Tour du Mont Blanc in Les Houches. To kick things off, we take the cable car up to Bellevue, jumping straight into panoramic views far away from the long forest ascent.
From here, we hike along scenic high trails to Col de Tricot, one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the entire tour. Wide alpine meadows, open views of the Mont Blanc Massif, and that unmistakable feeling of now we’re truly on our way accompany us.
Passing Chalet de Miage, we descend into the Vallée de Montjoie. A short shuttle takes us to Notre-Dame de la Gorge, where we make our final one-hour ascent to our first accommodation, Refuge de Nant Borrant.
A powerful, stunning start – and our first night in a beautiful mountain hut.
Ca. 12.6km + 900m elevation -
True high-mountain terrain awaits us today: We cross Col du Bonhomme (and if conditions allow, Col de la Croix du Bonhomme). Open, expansive landscapes, rocky paths, and alpine silence define this day. A long descent brings us down to the valley, where a shuttle takes us to Bourg Saint Maurice for the night.
Distance: 13.2km + 1000m elevation gain. -
In the morning, our shuttle brings us back to the trailhead, and we cross over into Italy. The scenery changes noticeably: Val Veny opens wide before us, with massive glaciers and rugged rock walls looming close. Mont Blanc shows its raw, majestic side here – a day filled with awe and grand horizons.
Distance: 14km + 1000m elevation gain.
-
We follow panoramic trails along the southern flank of Mont Blanc, with constant views of glaciers, seracs, and steep granite faces. The route remains high, open, and spectacular until we reach Courmayeur. Our overnight stay in La Palud offers a peaceful, authentic end to an unforgettable day – away from the hustle and bustle of Courmayeur.
Distance: ca. 15.7km + 500m elevation gain.
-
From La Palud, we climb up towards Mont de la Saxe – one of the absolute highlight sections of the TMB. Val Ferret lies deep below us, while the entire Mont Blanc Massif stretches out right across the valley. Expansive plateaus, rolling ridge lines, and crisp mountain clarity define today's journey.
Distance: Ca. 14.2km + 1000m elevation gain.
-
Crossing Grand Col Ferret, we hike into Switzerland. The pass is wide, quiet, and deeply impressive – a classic TMB milestone. On the Swiss side, the landscape turns softer and greener, greeting us with alpine pastures, mountain streams, and traditional chalets all the way to La Fouly.
Distance: Ca. 12km + 800m elevation gain.
-
A smooth, enjoyable day of hiking through lush forests and open valleys. We move through quintessential Swiss mountain scenery before reaching Champex-Lac – an idyllic mountain lake nestled between larch trees and peaks. The perfect place to unwind and recharge.
Distance: ca. 18km + 650m elevation gain.
-
Today gets more alpine again. Depending on conditions, we’ll choose between the Bovine route or the more challenging Fenêtre d’Arpette. Both options offer grand views and an intense nature experience. The descent to Trient is steep and dramatic – a invigorating day on the trail.
Distance: Ca. 15.5km + 730m elevation gain.
-
To enjoy this final stage to the fullest, we take a short shuttle from Trient to Col des Montets. From there, we begin our beautiful hike up to Refuge du Lac Blanc – an added highlight exclusive to our route, making this leg truly unforgettable.
The path offers continuous, spectacular views of the Mont Blanc Massif. At the top, Lac Blanc awaits: turquoise waters, a high-alpine backdrop, and a panorama that is simply breathtaking.
We’ll enjoy the sunset at Lac de Chésery before spending the night in the hut – pure silence, space, and the feeling of being right in the heart of the mountains.
Distance: Ca. 6km + 900m elevation gain.
-
After a magical morning high above the valley, we follow scenic high trails back towards Chamonix. Glacier views and sweeping panoramas accompany us one last time before we descend back to Les Houches. A complete, fulfilling conclusion – intense, rich, and full of shared memories.
Distance: 11.7km + minimal elevation gain, 1350m descent.

The Tour du Mont Blanc is a challenging multi-day trek – physically demanding and, at the same time, a deep personal journey. It’s for you if you’re excited to step out of your comfort zone, embrace elevation gain and long hiking days, and share genuine, unforgettable moments in nature.
Trekking for several days on foot means unplugging from daily life, clearing your head, recharging your batteries, and building a unique bond with like-minded people. This isn't a standard vacation; it's a consciously crafted experience with space for reflection, growth, and the rewarding feeling of having accomplished something great.
-
The full Tour du Mont Blanc covers roughly 170 km and about 10,000 meters of elevation gain and loss. On individual days, we hike 5–9 hours, usually covering at least 10 km and 1,000 meters of ascent per day. You will be carrying your own backpack (approx. 9–13 kg) every step of the way.
The challenge is real – and that’s precisely what makes it so rewarding: In the evening, you fall into bed tired but deeply fulfilled, and the next morning you tie your boots, ready for the next adventure.
It’s about showing up, being present in the moment, and experiencing the harmony of movement, nature, and inner clarity. You don't have to plan a thing – just show up, walk, and enjoy.
-
A balance of endurance, strength, and regular hikes is ideal. We recommend training 2–3 times a week with activities like hiking, running, or cycling.
-
Not at all! In fact, most of our participants join solo and leave as lifelong friends. This trip is ideal if you’re excited to meet new people, share experiences, and be part of a supportive group. We place great value on a warm, inclusive community.
-
We stay in cosy mountain huts and handpicked accommodations along the trail. Simple, clean, and welcoming – exactly what you need after a long day of hiking. Shared rooms or dormitories are part of the authentic alpine experience and bring the group closer together.
-
